The "Jorg" beret is part of a typical Lansquenet-costume. These mostly german mercenaries from the 15th/16th century were famous all over europe. We recommend to wear the beret with the matching "Jorg" Lansquenet-jerkin & -trousers and to combine it with a linen- or cotton coif.
